Comments:
Both proverbs acclaim the honourable position held by elderly people but display reverence differently.Whereas, the original proverb castigates being foul-mouthed,the postproverbial shuns even jokes. Also, while the original proverb is philosophically stated, the postproverbial is pedestrian
